Development of various nanostructured materials such as metal–organic framework (MOF)-based materials, metal hydroxides, oxides, sulfides, carbides, nitrides, phosphides and selenides with diverse morphologies employing innovative strategies for various applications.
Hydrogen production via Electro- and photo-electrochemical water splitting
1. Development of non-precious electrode materials for hydrogen production (oxygen and hydrogen evolution) via electrochemical and photo-electrochemical water splitting.

Fuel cell applications (Electrocatalysis)
Development of Pt and Non-Pt based electrocatalysts for Methanol /Ethanol oxidation, Hydrogen peroxide reduction, Oxygen reduction reaction.

1. Development of binder free electrode materials for high energy density supercapacitors and batteries, applications.
